Terms of Use

Pitching Curve is operated by Sinapis Digital LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. These Terms govern use of Pitching Curve. By creating an account, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. You may separately choose whether de-identified measurements can enter the private benchmark-improvement review process described in the Privacy Policy. That permission is optional.

Free access

Pitching Curve is currently free. The quick calculator does not require an account. Adults may create a free account for one private pitcher profile and the complete development tool. No payment method is required, no subscription charge is collected, and a free account will not automatically become a paid plan.

Adult, parent-controlled accounts

You must be at least 18 to create an account. A youth player profile may be created only by the player's parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for account security, information submitted through the account, and ensuring that a child does not independently operate it.

The service

Pitching Curve provides calculated ratings, historical tracking, development trends, projected pathway ranges, and general drill suggestions. The Pitcher Rating combines Present Stuff and Strike Control on a 1–99 Rating scale. A Pitcher Rating of 84 does not mean that a player is in the 84th percentile or has an 84% probability of reaching a particular level. Results depend on self-reported data, measurement quality, available benchmark samples, field dimensions, maturation, and other factors. Ratings, pathway labels, and projections are estimates and may change when the methodology is updated.

Projected pathway labels are determined by the graduation Rating estimate and may show adjacent levels when its estimated range crosses a boundary. The National Talent percentile is a separate within-cohort comparison with selected showcase pitchers, not with every youth pitcher. Optional CDC height and weight charts are separate from all baseball scores and projections.

Not medical or recruiting advice

Pitching Curve is not a medical provider, athletic trainer, scout, or recruiting service. It does not diagnose injury, prescribe workload, or guarantee roster placement, scholarships, draft status, or future performance. A “Draft consideration,” “Division I,” “Division II,” or other projected pathway range is not a determination that the player is a recruit or prospect at that level. Stop activity and consult a qualified professional when a player has pain, injury symptoms, or health concerns.

Free access and future pricing

The quick calculator and complete private pitcher profile are available at no cost. Pitching Curve may introduce paid plans or advertising in the future, but any price, included features, renewal terms, and applicable taxes will be disclosed before a user can choose a paid plan.

Creating or using a free account does not authorize a future charge. A user would have to take a separate, explicit action before any paid service could begin.

Account closure

The adult account holder may permanently delete the account from the account controls. Deletion removes the private player profile, measurements, consent records, and linked review copies as described in the Privacy Policy. The current free service has no subscription to cancel and no charge to refund. Additional billing information is available on the Free Access and Billing page.

Acceptable use

You may not submit information you are not authorized to provide, impersonate another person, attempt to access another family's profile, interfere with security, scrape or extract private benchmark tables, reverse engineer protected model data, automate abusive requests, or use the service unlawfully.

Ownership and license

Pitching Curve and its original software, design, text, scoring logic, and compiled benchmark model are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain rights in information you submit and grant Pitching Curve a limited license to process it only to provide, secure, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy and your consent choices.

Availability and methodology changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may update benchmark models when data quality and sample thresholds support a controlled release. If future paid plans are introduced, their terms will be presented separately before purchase.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Pitching Curve does not warrant that estimates are error-free or fit for a particular athletic decision. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pitching Curve will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Its aggregate liability will not exceed the amount, if any, paid to Pitching Curve during the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Arizona law, without regard to conflict-of- law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post a new effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. Questions may be sent to support@pitchingcurve.com. The service operator is Sinapis Digital LLC.
