Parent Notice and Consent

Effective July 29, 2026

Pitching Curve is designed for an adult to manage one private youth pitcher profile. The player should not create the account or independently submit personal information. Pitching Curve is operated by Sinapis Digital LLC.

What the parent provides

The parent chooses a private player label and may provide birth month and year, graduation year, throwing hand, dated pitching measurements, strike and pitch counts, pitch-repertoire information, and a general source category such as travel, varsity, showcase, or training. The parent may also add height and weight to a separate optional CDC growth chart. A nickname or non-identifying label is encouraged. Do not enter a school, team, address, phone number, or social-media profile.

Why Pitching Curve uses it

The information creates age-based estimates, a saved measurement history, development trends, and training priorities. Results are informational estimates, not medical advice, scouting evaluations, recruiting decisions, or guarantees of future performance. The source category helps identify bias in the research sample and never adds or subtracts Rating points. Height and weight do not affect the Rating, projection, or pathway.

Required confirmations and optional permission

1. Required parent management. The adult confirms they are at least 18 and are the player's parent or legal guardian. This is required to create and manage a profile.
2. Optional benchmark improvement. The parent may allow a name-free copy of measurements to enter a private review queue. This permission starts unchecked, is not required for account or profile access, and can be changed later from the player dashboard.

Parent controls

The adult account holder can view saved information, correct entries, download an export, withdraw benchmark-improvement permission, and delete the account and player data. Deleting the account is permanent. Contact privacy@pitchingcurve.com if the online controls are unavailable.

Consent statement

By creating a player profile, the adult confirms that they are at least 18, are authorized as the player's parent or legal guardian, have reviewed the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and consent to the collection and use of the profile information solely for the services described there. Benchmark-improvement permission is requested separately, is optional, and can be changed later.
